Lozère is a highly regarded place for outdoor sports: canoeing, climbing, caving, paddle, hook-up, hiking and horse riding, mountain biking, via ferrata, fishing etc. there’s something for everyone!
The Tarn Gorges, the paradise of thrills
The unmissable stop on your holiday: the Tarn Gorges. Located 40 minutes from the “Le Soleil Levant” campsite, they offer their visitors exceptional panoramas (Point Sublime) and an impressive choice of activities on the water, on land or outdoors. Hikes, canoeing, via ferrata, no hesitation, towards the Tarn Gorges!
Art and games in nature
Less than an hour from our campsite, discover the paradise of young and old! The Vallon du Villaret is a nature playground where attractions are made with diverted materials. Adventures, discoveries, art, this place will delight the whole family!
Hiking
Hiking, mountain biking or riding on the Aubrac and Margeride will show you their ancient volcanic lands rich in preserved flora and fauna.
The causses and Cévennes plateaus, listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites on the cultural landscape theme of Mediterranean agro-pastoralism, will invite you to explore the vastness of their rock-born landscapes shaped by agro-pastoralism over the centuries.
Finally, Mount Lozère and the Tarn Gorges will delight you with breathtaking panoramas!

For hiking lovers, the GR Urban V crosses our village of Bourgs-Sur-Colagne, the perfect opportunity to stop by our campsite for one night, or simply fill up on food for your picnic in our store.
