We are happy to welcome you in our family campsite, in the heart of the greenery in Bourgs-Sur-Colagne, for pleasant and quiet holidays in our beautiful department of Lozère.

Setting and amenities

The 2-star rated campsite “Le Soleil Levant” in Lozère is nestled in a magnificent natural setting, in the heart of the greenery and on the banks of the stream La Biouvière.

Campsite pitches

Our campsite offers you 35 bare pitches, particularly spacious and shady, of about 100m², each equipped with water and electricity.

Sanitary facilities

The campsite’s sanitary facilities are made up of two areas: one, recently renovated, accessible to people with reduced mobility, provides you with a closed and heated area (when the outside temperature leaves something to be desired…), equipped with showers, WC, baby bathtub, etc. The second is outside.

Simplicity and friendliness

The family atmosphere that reigns in this place will allow you to privilege moments of calm and reunion with family and friends, without forgetting the youngest who will have all the leisure to spend themselves in our playground.

Please note that a collective barbecue is available to all campers.

Our animal friends are welcome here for free !

Who are we?

We are Pierre and Nathalie, farmers and producers in the village Bourgs-Sur-Colagne in Lozère. We created the campsite “Le Soleil Levant” in the enclosure of our property, more than 30 years ago.

We have chosen to participate in the development of agritourism and the promotion of local agricultural products.

Don’t hesitate to come and visit our shop, where dairy products, delicatessen, honeys, jams, etc. are waiting for you for the greatest pleasure of your taste buds!

Camping très agréable, bien ombragé, ce qui est très confortable quand il fait chaud. Plein de sites à découvrir aux alentours. Un accueil vraiment sympathique, et une boutique de produits locaux attirante, surtout les produits des propriétaires : charcuteries, produits laitiers des jersiaises ( des crèmes en particulier qu'il ne faut pas manquer). Nous passions pour quelques jours, nous y sommes restés 2 semaines. Merci encore aux propriétaires de maintenir un si délicieux camping.

Quiet little site just south of Marvejols. Quiet sites aren't always easy to find in this area so it's worth a visit if you are passing through. The site sells local farm stuff (meat and dairy mainly) and the village has a boulangerie.

Très agréable, bien ombragé avec de grands arbres, une petite rivière en bordure. Accueil sympathique et boutique avec produits locaux. Calme,si vous cherchez la tranquillité, je vous le recommande.

Camping très ombragé en bord de rivière. Peu fréquenté (nous étions seuls). Tarif très intéressant : moins de 10 euros sans électricité. Sanitaires neufs qui manquent un peu d'entretien. Bon accueil. Magasin de vente de produits locaux: viande, charcuterie, fromages.......

Located 2 hours from Clermont-Ferrand and Montpellier, and 5 minutes from the motorway (exit 39, A75) the campsite “Le Soleil Levant” offers an ideal pied-à-terre to come and discover the landscapes and activities of Lozère.

How to get to the campsite

From the “Loups du Gévaudan” (wolves park) at 15 minutes, to the Cévennes (UNESCO world heritage site) at 1 hour, passing by the majestic Gorges du Tarn at 40 minutes, the location of our campsite allows you to quickly access all the stages of your tourist journey in Lozère.
